Description
At the moment we are looking for a Lead Data Engineer for developing a data hub in P2P. As a Lead Data Engineer, you will integrate data from different blockchains and Dapps. This role requires excellent analytical skills, proficient software engineering expertise, and the ability to collaborate with various teams. The role is a full-time remote position, and you’re free to work from anywhere.
Responsibilities
- Bootstrapping a data engineering team at an early stage in the team’s evolution
- Work closely with the Product Owners and stakeholders to design the Technical Architecture for data platform
- Work with the leadership to set the standards for software engineering practices
- Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure
- Monitoring, administering and deploying data workflows and systems
- Designing support around workflows and information pipelines and flows
- Tuning Big Data solutions to improve performance and end-user experience
Requirements
- At least 5 years of relevant experience
- Excellent coding skills in SQL, Python (or similar languages)
- Experience in data warehouse design
- Experience in ETL/ELT design, implementation and maintenance , database administration
- Experience with API
- Experience with pipelines and CI
- Proficient with git and git workflows
- Intermediate English and Russian
- Autonomous and Dynamic mindset
Will be a plus:
- Crypto experience, particularly working with Ethereum / blockchain nodes
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar
- Experience with cloud technology ( BigQuery, Clickhouse, Snowflake and etc.)
